Briana Vorkink

Assistant Coach

Briana (Arnold) Vorkink began her coaching career personally coaching high school players throughout her time at BYU. She also organized and ran her own lacrosse camp and spent a season as a volunteer coach for an elementary school in American Fork.

Briana played for the BYU team from 2013-2018, with an LDS mission to Kobe, Japan in the middle. She was voted captain her junior and senior seasons and helped the team advance to the WCLA national tournament in 2013, 2017, and 2018. She received All-American awards in 2014 and 2018. Her senior year, she helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish at nationals, held the record for most goals in the league, and received an award for National Attack Player of the Year.

After college, Briana played internationally for U.S. Elite in Berlin and Prague.

Briana began her lacrosse career in 2nd grade on the boy’s team. She played boy’s lacrosse through 8th grade and began girl’s lacrosse in 3rd. In high school she received various awards including All-State Midfielder and Division MVP. She also helped her team win the State Championship in 2012.
