The men's racquetball team won their first ever national championship, women's team took third place, and the combined team took second place!
The BYU Racquetball team competed at the National Collegiate Racquetball tournament in Minneapolis, MN from March 26-29 and did a fantastic job. The men’s team took their first ever team national championship that also featured individual and doubles national championships by Grant Felsted, Garren Craig, Drew Niska, Cody Jackson, Thomas Powley, Nathan Holt, and Caleb Cooper.
The men’s team scored a total of 1210 points to secure the title over Texas A&M that was close behind with 1191 points.
The women’s team also had a strong showing coming in 3rd place behind Oregon State and University of Missouri. The team was led by high point scorers Heidi Snyder and Taylor Watford who came in 2nd in the nation in women’s doubles, behind the 1st place finishers from University of Missouri.
The combined team took 2nd place overall behind Oregon State University.
This is the continuation of a remarkable run by BYU racquetball that has included 3 team national championships in the last 4 years. The women’s team won it all in 2023 and 2024, and the men’s team secured the title in 2026. Congratulations BYU Racquetball!
